So today started pretty much as a repeat of yesterday. Woke feeling marginally better. Managed to do a little bit of exercise whilst standing under the shower, a few laps of the ward whilst trying to get some ice out of the ice machine, then feeling a bit puffed and sit down for a bit of a rest.

I had a bag of magnesium today around lunchtime which normally means my head, hands and feet start burning a bit, but today, even though my face was burning, I could not get my feet warm. I just could not seem to warm up. I put on one of my little caps to try and keep my head warm. As much as I was hot in the face, could not warm up at all (whilst everyone outside is suffering extreme heat).

Shift change of staff comes with a set of ob's, and it turns out my temperature is 38.3 degrees - so the process of taking blood out of each of my 3 lines begins, and then some peripheral blood taken. So, I ended up having a pretty good nap this afternoon and woke up essentially in time for dinner. It's now only 7.30pm and I feel ready to go back to sleep again!
