So on track with all numbers.
After such a lovely day yesterday feeling particularly well, I knew it might be too good to last! Woke this morning about 4am and from that point until about 9.00am did not move much. I was cold, I was hot, feeling nauseous. They got some IV anti-nausea into me pretty fast and after a bit of a sleep, I started to function around 9.00am. Had an icy pole for breakfast and that really helped.
Timing was good as Anth arrived around then, and my daughters both turned up around 10.30am after catching the train down. By the time they arrived I was sitting up in the chair but still feeling a bit off - but so much better than where I had been 3 hours earlier. By after lunch I had perked up enough to join in card games etc (and get thrashed - chemo brain is my excuse for any poor playing!).
So, it was all the meds needed to pre-prepare me for the BM transfusion. The last of the rabbit went in and then it was 3.15pm when the esky arrived with the bag of bone marrow. I knew the procedure was a bit of an anti-climax so we had our own drumroll going, and then even a German Marching band music playing, to create our own sense of excitement!:
So, over 20 min, no pumps - just using gravity, the bone marrow went in. Obs were taken ever 5 min and then it was done!
So here it is:

Feeling very tired after a big day- and basically have been asleep from 5.30pm - 8.30pm and now getting ready to settle in again, accept this new bone marrow into my body and keep my fingers crossed that it does exactly what it is designed to do.
Tomorrow is Day 1 of the 'new' me!
