There is not much more to report again today. Slept again most of the morning - so the current routine is wake relatively early (between 5.30am and 6.30am) - pretty much have to pee as soon as I wake up (from any nap) and have bloods taken. Maybe look at FB, turn on the TV, and then breakfast arrives. After breakfast arrives, I get up and have a shower, do mouthwashes and either go walking laps around the ward, or do my list of exercises. Then today lay down to read the paper, and fell fast asleep until until about 11.30 when they come in with more medications, just before lunch arrives...

Afternoon today was to try and get through the paper without falling asleep again (which I managed to do) and then Anth returned from a trip home today with my parents so had visitors this afternoon - which always helps the time go by a little faster!

Days do drag on here - but at the same time as saying that, it is hard to believe that I am on the 6th day in hospital already.

Nausea is pretty much there all the time - tonight my parents and Anth were talking about going out to a Thai restaurant - and all I could think about was some fresh spring rolls - something fried! The nausea is a bit like morning sickness, when you don't want to eat, but feel that you have to eat consistently to keep the nausea away! For those who have experienced it, they would have an idea of what I am talking about.

The only new thing today is that I learned that sometime before the 21st (BMT day) is that my blood is going to be treated for antibodies. My blood group is O+ and my donor is B+ and apparently I have antibodies in my blood at relatively high levels. This means I will head down to the day ward where they will extract my blood, run it through a machine to remove the antibodies and then pump it back into me!

They don't know exactly when this will happen - they have to juggle it around with the chemo etc, so I suppose I'll just wait and see.

Just got a call, apparently some spring rolls on the way to me - YUM (I hope!)
