Monday

So it's been 2 weeks since I first 'checked in'. Nothing much new to report again today (not a very exciting blog!) but I suppose the waiting and watching numbers is part of the process, and I was thinking if I understood this coming into it, I might have been better prepared.

Dr's are happy that my electrolytes are all normal so a few less pills for tomorrow. I received a bag of blood (packed cells) so was connected up today. Here in the ward they put a bag through a lot slower than in the day ward.

Still battling with food and lack of taste of anything. Parents made me some lasagne which I had for dinner tonight - but unfortunately still can't taste much at all. Tried to have a 'passionia' but this did not work well with the metallic taste in my mouth. Some things just have no taste and others react badly with the chemo taste. I am trying to eat as I can at the moment without feeling nauseous and I am worried if mouth ulcers do form, then I will not be able to eat again.

Hoping though, don't need to face this at all.
